Aventure inside a local home and see the old tradition household methods such as an old stone grinder, pestle and mortar and more.

Discover the old way of making coconut husk rope using hands.

Try your hand at weaving "ukili" a specific leaf used to make bags, mats and much more.
 
See how the traditional dhow boats are built using an old natural method.

 

We will also visit the fish the fish market where the fishermen bring their fish to be actioned.
 

Visting the Sea Turtle sanctuary, or swimming with the turtles is an optional and the guests will have to pay the entrance fee by themselves.

Duration: Half day (9am-12:30pm / 2pm-5:00pm)

Collection and drop off: If you are staying in the Nungwi area, you will be picked up and dropped off to your hotel after the tour. 

 If you are staying outside of the Nungwi region, transportation can be arranged to bring you to this location, for an additional fee (please inquire for further information).
